The Supreme Court

We know our founders thought this branch of government would be the weakest as it only had power to declare laws unconstitutional and to apply the laws through trials. The courts have often exceded their authority in passing rulings that have the power of law. This is a grevious acquisitioin of power that goes against the basic principles of our country. The people, and only the people, have a right make laws and govern themselves. By allowing a small grouip of lifetime appointed judges the power to decide what is right or wrong based on their feelings is taking away the right to govern from the people and putting it into the hands of what turns out are poliltical appointees.
